Omantel Service: Top Up SpinTheWheel

1. GENERAL TERMS

Oman Telecommunications Company SAOG (hereinafter also referred to as “Omantel”), whose registered office is located at P.O. Box no. 789, postal code 112, Ruwi, Sultanate of Oman, has created Top Up SpinTheWheel (the “Service”), a subscription service that is available through SMS and WEB Portal. Customers who subscribe to “Top Up SpinTheWheel” can play a trivia game to increase chances of our weekly and monthly cash prizes. Only Omantel customers can participate in this promotion

2. DURATION OF THE SERVICE

The duration of the subscription service is from 15th of June 2020 and will continue auto basis until otherwise communicated.

3. MECHANICS

The Omantel customer can participate in the "Top Up SpinTheWheel" promotion by doing the following actions

When the user performs a Top Up amount greater than OMR 1, he will be notified to enter our free Promotion Portal on which he automatically is able to redeem one of many Telco available.

The number of Opportunities awarded will be determined by the balance recharged and once the recharge is made, the user will be invited by TIMWE by means of an SMS message from the SHORT-CODE NUMBER 92564 to enter the website win.omantel.om and use the opportunities gained while performing the Top Up in order to access our prizes.

To be part of it, the CLIENT must enter the at no cost to him.

You will immediately receive several SMS text messages detailing the number of opportunities assigned by their recharge.

Users can perform multiple recharge Top Ups, but they have to carry them out through the digital recharge sites on www.omantel.om or in the self-care application for Omantel users in the recharge section.

How to Participate in the subscription side of the Promotional Game:

After the reminder for the customer to redeem his free Telco prize by performing the Top Up, we will notify the customer with a separate message on which will explain that upon subscription to this service, and user will the entitled to win weekly and monthly cash prizes.

In addition to SMS channel, the Portal on which the prizes can be redeemed will also allow the customer to subscribe to the promotion.

On subscription, the Omantel Customer shall be charged OMR 0.3 on a daily basis

After successful subscription user will have him guaranteed 30 MB per successful renewal and have debited 10 tickets, which will have the client’s chances increased in order to win the cash prizes.

Each participant can drop out of the Promotional Game and stop receiving any information about the Promotional Game by sending an SMS with keyword “STOP” or “ إيقاف ” for free to the Short Code 92564. If thereafter the user chooses to send the opt-in keyword again to the Short Codes, he/she will be again considered as a participant in the Promotional Game.

In order to win more tickets, the client needs to answer to the quiz that will be shared upon successful subscription. Every correct answer will deliver double the amount of points of a wrong answer.

On every Thursday, based on the current promotion (weekly or monthly prize), a winner will be selected from a draw that will be performed by Timwetech, completely at random, either by subscription, renewal, right/wrong quiz and One Shot purchase, on which customers with the highest amount of tickets to have an higher chance.

4. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Omantel accepts no responsibility whatsoever for, including without limitation, any error, omission, interruption, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure when it is not under its direct control and execution.

Omantel reserves the right to whenever is deemed necessary temporarily suspend the Promotional Game for operational reasons (e.g. for repairs, planned maintenance or upgrades). Omantel promises to restore the Promotional Game as soon as possible after any temporary suspension period.

Omantel advises participants to use caution and common sense when participating in the Promotional Game at all times.

5. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

Participants understand and agree that they participate in this Promotional Game at their own risk and willingness and have not been coerced in any manner to enter the Promotional Game.

Omantel makes no warranty, implied or express, that any part of the Promotional Game will be uninterrupted and error-free.

Neither Omantel nor any of its directors, employees, agents or suppliers shall accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant participating in the Promotional Game or as a result of accepting the prize.

Omantel is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, telephone lines or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer or mobile telephone related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in the Promotional Game.

By entering the Promotional Game, participants agree that no claim relating to such losses or injuries (including special, indirect and consequential losses) shall be asserted against Omantel, its parent companies, affiliates, directors, officers, employees or agents from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind resulting from acceptance or use of any prize, including without limitation, personal injuries, death and property damage.
